Abstract:
To provide a composition without fear for molecular weight degradation of a polymer, impurities or qualities accompanied with solubility and gel formation of a biologically active substance used in the polymer composition.
The composition becomes capable to suppress or eliminate molecular weight degradation of the polymer induced by a nucleophilic substance which may catalyzes ester bond breakage of the polymer in the polymer composition by including a small amount of an acidic additive, particularly a small amount of a low pKa acid such as lactic acid, glycolic acid or an oligomeric acid as a part of the polymer composition.
