To provide a pricking apparatus designed to efficiently perform double side processing for regulating the disposition of a fibrous sheet by prickers.

This pricking apparatus has such a scheme that a plurality of needle prickers 5 innumerably piercing, with the needles of rolls 15, a to-be- processed sheet which is continuously passed through in between a rotary drum 10 and the rolls 15 are disposed in a longitudinal row, and for some of the prickers, the drum 10 is rotated normally so as to pass the sheet from the entrance toward the exit, while for the rest of the prickers, the drum 10 is rotated reversely so as to pass the sheet from the exit toward the entrance.
