Abstract:
To provide a primer for realizing an electrophotographic image of high quality forming apparatus that has a good coating property of varnish on a toner image, creates a varnish layer uniform in thickness, and has good adhesion of a varnish layer; and an electrophotographic image using the primer.
A primer is applied on a toner image before coating varnish on the toner image, and comprises at least transparent thermoplastic resin fine particles. An electrophotographic image has the primer applied on a toner image, and further a varnish layer provided on the primer.
