Abstract:

To provide a primer available for producing a DNA fragment in which a plurality of DNA fragments are fused by using PCR method, and a method for effectively producing a fused DNA fragment thereby.

In a primer available for overlap extension PCR method, a pair of primers comprises a specific sequence in which, the 5' end of primer allowing to overlap has 50% or more of guanine (G) plus cytosine (C) content, is 9-45 bp in length, and allows target DNA fragments to complementarily bind together. A method for producing a fused DNA fragment uses the same.
