Abstract:

To provide a primer set for detecting or quantifying microorganisms in treating terephthalic acid-containing wastewater, and to provide a method for monitoring the quantity of microorganisms and a method for rating methane fermentation efficiency each using the primer set, respectively.

A three sets of the primer set for detecting or quantifying specific three kinds of microorganisms in treating terephthalic acid-containing wastewater are provided. Using these sets of primers, these microorganisms are monitored by determining the 16S rDNA levels of these microorganisms and the methane fermentation efficiency is rated.
