The print control device includes: a generation means for generating print data from image data; a print means for transferring ink to a recording sheet by a thermal head based on the print data generated by the generation means; a determination means for determining whether there is high-density region having a predetermined density or more about the print data; and a notification means for, when it is determined that there is the high-density region, notifying a user that non-glossy region where glossiness is reduced is generated.
