Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print paper counting device capable of being returned to a normal total value even after that in the case of executing no necessary reset operation, and an alarm device of ink refilling time formed by the print paper counting device.
SOLUTION: The facsimile apparatus memorizes sheets of print by putting a total of them in a first and second print sheet counter C1, C2. When the upper cover is opened and closed at the time of replacing an ink ribbon, automatic reset is carried out (S102) in regard to the second print sheet counter C2, and requirement is made (S112) for conducting reset operation as required with regard to the first print sheet counter C1 so as to be reset (S114) by only the period of reset operation. In the process of S112, in the case of no necessary operation, a total value of the first print sheet counter C1 can be normalized by only copying the value of the second print sheet counter C2 on the first print sheet counter C1.
