Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of starting print output relatively early based on print instructions given by a user via a print instruction device in a pull-print system.SOLUTION: In a pull-print system 1, a print instruction device 50 to receive print instructions from a user transmits document data 410 together with a first print command, i.e. a pull-print command to a document storage device (for example, an MFP 10a1) if a first condition is not satisfied when the print instructions are received. On the other hand, if the first condition is satisfied when the print instructions are received, the print instruction device transmits the document data 410 together with a second print command to a particular MFP 10 (for example 10c1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
