To provide a print system with which printing can be immediately stopped by simple operation.

This print system is provided with a processor 1, with which the transmission part of an interface is occupied for the transmission of print data during the transmission of the print data to a printer 10, equipped with a print buffer for temporarily storing the print data and the interface with the printer 10 and the printer 10 for receiving and printing the print data. In this case, the processor 1 is provided with a print stop instructing means 27 for instructing the stop of printing under execution and a stop processing means 28 for sending a print stopping command to the printer 10 after the contents in the print buffer are erased corresponding to the stopping instruction of printing. Then, the printer 10 is provided with a print stopping means 12 for stopping the print processing under execution when the print stopping command is received.
