A printed antenna comprises: a ground plane; a substrate overlapped on the ground plane; a metal layer produced on the substrate for forming a resonant patch 3; and a power feeding means for exciting the resonant patch, wherein the patch has a dimension suited so as to perform radiations in both upper electromagnetic wave modes TM02 and TM20, and the power feeding means excites the patch at one exciting point 4 disposed along with the patch so as to resonate the patch in one of the upper electromagnetic wave modes by inducting a dual-beam diagram having, within the same plane orthogonal to the patch, two main non-aligned radiation lobes symmetric with respect to a normal of the patch.
