Provided is a printed body 10 comprising: a base material layer 30; a silver expression layer 38 as a metal color expression layer provided at the surface of the base material layer 30; a thick-clad printed layer 32 printed at a printing thickness of 50 μm or more and 300 μm or less in at least a part of the region on the silver expression layer 38 using printing ink having visibility of colorless transparency to a degree at which the base expression of the silver expression layer 38 or the like is visible even if thick-clad printing is performed; and a matting coating layer 40 provided on the silver expression layer 38 and at a region in which the thick-clad printed layer 32 is not printed.
