PURPOSE: To achieve miniaturization and to enhance operability and the connectivity with an apparatus main body, by arranging an LED array chip and printed wirings to the single surface of a board main body and providing the electrode pads connected to the printed wirings to the opposite surface of said board main body.
CONSTITUTION: A 64-dot LED array chip 2 with dot density of 12 dots/mm are mounted on the central part of the surface of a rectangular board main body 1 with a dimension of 30×30mm. Printed wirings 3 are symmetrically provided to the board main body 1 left and right at every 32 and the left and right wirings are respectively connected by die bonding using wires with a diameter of 20μm made of a gold alloy, aluminum or an aluminum alloy. The leading end parts of the printed wirings 3 respectively leads to the back surface of the board main body 1 through through-holes 5 and a common electrode 6 is provided to the board main body 1 from the chip 2 along the center line of said main body 1. Electrode pads 7 are symmetrically provided to the rear surface of the board main body 1 left and right at every 32 to be connected to the through-holes 5. By this constitution, a small-sized board excellent in connectivity is obtained.
