Title:
PRINTED-COIL TESTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3269225
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform an inspection at high speed and efficiently by a method wherein a magnetic flux which is generated by supplying a current to a sensing coil and which is interlinked with a printed coil to be inspected is utilized and the quality of the printed coil to be inspected is inspected in a noncontact manner.
CONSTITUTION: A tester is constituted of a sensing coil 20 which is formed by printing a slender copper foil so as to be a spiral shape and of a measuring instrument 22 which is connected to the coil 20. When the sensing coil 20 is arranged so as to face a printed coil 10, to be inspected, by keeping a prescribed interval, both coils form an air-core transformer. In such a state, a current (i) is supplied to the sensing coil 20 from the measuring instrument 22, and a magnetic flux is generated in the sensing coil 20. The magnetic flux is interlinked with the printed coil 10 to be inspected. Then, the quality of the printed coil 10 is judged by utilizing a change in the mutual inductance M of the printed coil 10 and the sensing coil 20.
