To provide a printed material, in which images are formed on dye receptive layers on both sides of a base sheet by thermal transfer, and to provide a photo book, in which a plurality of the printed materials are stacked and one ends of the printed materials are bound by bonding with an adhesive to form a photo book configuration, wherein the printed material is prevented from being fallen apart, and also the need of a special device for forming a cutout is eliminated in producing the printed material.
In the printed material, a surface of the printed material 1 includes: a rectangular first region A including one side 16 of the printed material; and a second region B that is the other regions than the first region A. The printed material includes: a protective layer 4 in at least one surface of the first region A; and protective layer formed parts 12 and protective layer non-formed parts 13 that are alternatively formed in a direction parallel to the one side 16 of the printed material in at least one surface of the second region B.
