Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter issuance device capable of reducing the size of a recovery mechanism for recovering a print sheet that is not received by a user.SOLUTION: A printed matter issuance device 100 comprises: a transport unit 30 transporting a print sheet P; a transport guide section 60 that includes a transport surface guiding the print sheet P transported by the transport unit 30 along a transport route R1 and including an opening portion formed to recover the print sheet P, and a dam section 83 provided upstream of the opening portion, guiding the print sheet P from upstream to downstream of the opening portion so that the print sheet P passes over the opening portion, and guiding the print sheet P transported from downstream to upstream of the opening portion to the opening portion; and a pressing roller 81 pressing the print sheet P to the dam section 83 while transporting the print sheet P in an opposite direction to a discharge direction.
