Abstract:
To make it possible to perform good printing by correcting intensity of concentration difference of the overlapping printed areas according to print data, without allowing overlapping printed areas to become dark and conspicuous.SOLUTION: A printed matter preparation device executes: an acquisition step of acquiring print data; a first printing step of forming, by a printing part 20, a first print based on a first on-dot included in the acquired print data while transporting a medium T to be printed; thereafter; a cutting step of interrupting transportation of the medium T to be printed to terminate formation of the first print, and cutting the medium T to be cut; thereafter, a second printing step of forming a second print based on a second on-dot included the acquired print data while transporting the medium T to be printed, and preparing a printed matter; and an on-dot adjustment step of adjusting at least one aspect of the first on-dot and the second on-dot in the print data corresponding to a connection part between the first print formed in the first printing step and the second print formed in the second printing step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
