Title:
PRINTED SPIRAL INDUCTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006245129
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problem that an inductor needs a large space and exhibits a strong non-linearity since it uses a magnetic substance as a core, and designing of the inductor requires experience and sophisticated simulator, and a very expensive measuring instrument is needed to measure a small inductance; and that, since a transformer is heavy and large in size, generally an extra power supply is required for reception of FM signals which requires a complicated circuit including an IC circuit and for analog operation.

An inductor which saves space and can be easily made to make a linear operation is formed by forming a circular spiral inductor on a substrate. Using the program, impedance computation is performed easily and rapidly at a low cost, while considering various problems associated with increasing the number of turns. The inductance of the manufactured inductor is accurately measured at a low cost by self-oscillation of the inductor. Since a thin and light-weight transformer can be manufactured at a low cost by laying the inductors one on top of another in multiple layers, an FM receiver and an analog signal adder and subtractor which require no extra power supply nor complicated circuit can be manufactured.
