Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus enabling a user to automatically print whatever images the user wishes at a predetermined position of clothes, fabric, etc.
SOLUTION: An apparatus is incorporated in a casing 1, and inside the casing are arranged a storing part 7 for a T shirt 15, a video camera 4, a half mirror 6, a CRT 5, a transfer paper printer 8, a thermal transfer apparatus 9 from above. A window part 3 through which an image of a user standing in front of the casing 1 is picked up by the video camera 4, an operation panel 2, and a T shirt reception opening 45 are arranged at the side of a front face of the casing 1 from above. A reading apparatus 16 reading an image of a sheet 33 carried by the user is set at a rear face of the operation panel 2. The user selects and designates the picked-up image by the camera 4 or image on the sheet 33, orders printing, generates by the printer 8 a transferred paper based on the image, transfers by the thermal transfer apparatus 9 the transferred paper onto the T shirt 15 carried in from the storing part 7, and receives the T shirt with the transferred image at the reception opening 45.
