The printer 2 comprises a communication part 21 for receiving a plurality of images to be printed, captured from a television video image from a STB1, a command receiving part 27 for receiving input of a printing setting for designating the printing paper classifying method (page setting) from a user, an outputting part 29 for printing the received images on a printing paper according to the printing setting, and a controlling part 25 for awaiting image input from the communication part 21, having the outputting part 29 execute an image printing operation after receiving images by the number to be printed in a predetermined printing area, and awaiting again with the printing paper feeding operation temporarily stopped during the awaiting period.
