Abstract:
To solve the problem that it is difficult to obtain printed matter of the same color as that of an image or the like of an original.
At the time of controlling a printing device which forms the image by recording a plurality of colors of ink to a printing medium, image data having a color of each pixel specified by a spectral reflectance for the image composed of dot matrix-shaped pixels is acquired. The acquired image data is converted to ink quantity data having the color of each pixel specified by a quantity of the ink. The printing device is driven to form the image by an ink quantity according to the ink quantity data.
