Abstract:
To prevent deviation in a position of a printed medium when cutting the printed medium by a simple mechanism.SOLUTION: A printing device 1 includes a cutting unit 9 for cutting a printed medium 11 at a first position of a conveyance path of the printed medium 11. The cutting unit 9 includes: a movable blade 920 capable of cutting the printed medium 11 by being moved; a cut button 6 interlocked with the movable blade 920 and moving the movable blade 920 by a load caused by pressing; and at least one holding member 950 for holding the printed medium 11 upstream of the first position on the conveyance path. At least the one holding member 950 moves with a change in a relative position of the printed medium 11 and the movable blade 920.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
