To provide a printer device that achieves improvement in printing quality by executing the rear surface printing corresponding to the printing position on the front surface when executing printing on both of the front surface and the rear surface.

The printer device is configured such that a desired image 30 is printed on the front surface of a printing sheet M made of a transparent or a translucent material, and then, the printing sheet M is reversed so as to print the desired image on the rear surface of the printing sheet corresponding to the desired image 30. The printer device is provided with a mark detection sensor and a control unit. The mark detection sensor prints and forms an expansion/contraction detection line 31, detectable from the front surface side, on the surface of the printing sheet M while having a prescribed positional relationship with the desired image 30 during the printing of the desired image 30 and detects the position of the expansion/contraction detection line 31, printed and formed on the surface, during the printing or before the printing of the desired image on the rear surface. The control part corrects the image forming position of the desired image with respect to the rear surface such that the image forming position of the desired image with respect to the rear surface is set at a prescribed position corresponding to the desired image 30 in accordance with the detection result obtained with the mark detection sensor.
