Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a printer device which can notify information concerning process by which a specified emulation has been selected.
CONSTITUTION: A printer device 22 stores a plurality of emulation programs, and selects a most suitable emulation by analyzing printing data which is sent from a work station as a host computer, by a CPU 31. The evaluation content at that time can be output as a report from an engine unit 46.
