Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress skew in transportation of a roll sheet.SOLUTION: A printer 100 includes an image formation unit 2 for forming an image on a roll paper 3, and a feeder 1 for feeding the roll paper 3. The feeder 1 has drive control means for drive control of a body approach transportation roller pair 18 which transports the unwound roll paper 3 and feeds the roll paper 3 into the image formation unit 2. The image formation unit 2 has determination means for determining whether a body transportation roller pair 5, which transports the roll paper 3 fed by the body approach transportation roller pair 18, holds the roll paper 3 or not. When the determination means determines that the roll paper 3 is held, the drive control means stops drive of the body approach transportation roller pair 18.
