To make it possible to adjust the pressure distribution of a print head corresponding to the width of a print medium by limiting abutment of an abutting body on one location, and to facilitate an adjustment operation to improve adjustability.

A printer head pressure-imparting device is provided with: an abutting body 10 which is provided in a printer printing by pressing a print head 2 to a print medium W on a platen roller 1 and contacts the upper face of the print head 2 to be biased at the side of the platen roller 1 via the print head 2; and a drive part 20 by which the abutting position of the abutting body 10 is made variable along the width direction of the print head 2. The abutting body 10 comprises: a turning shaft 11 which is turnably provided to a support 13 above the print head 2 and has a shaft line along the width direction of the print head 2; and a projecting bar 12 which is provided at the outer periphery side of the turning shaft 11, is formed spirally around the shaft line of the turning shaft 11 as a center, and in which any one location of an outer face abuts on the upper face of the print head 2 by turning of the turning shaft 11. The drive part 20 has a main knob 21 turning the turning shaft 11.
