The printer reads image data, acquires data and time information relating to the read image data, receives processing information to process the acquired date and time information, process the data and time information on the basis of the received processing information, attaches the processed date and time information to the read image data in an optional form and prints out the resulting image so as to print out the image with which a correct data and time at a photographing place is synthesized.
