Abstract:
To lengthen the exchange cycle of an ink ribbon of back printing device of dot-impact type.
With the back-printing device 50 of dot-impact type by which information such as date is printed at the rear face of a photosensitive recording paper 34, a driver 94 makes the driving voltage of a back-printing head 38 lower when using a small amount of the ink ribbon 68 while making the driving voltage of the back-printing head higher when using a large amount of the ink ribbon 68. Thereby, the consumption of ink can be suppressed, and the exchange cycle of the ink ribbon 68 can be lengthened.
