To efficiently create a plurality of labels.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes a conveyance part 150 for conveying a tape, a printing part 160 for performing printing on the tape, a cutting part 170 for cutting the tape, and a control part 100. The control part 100 performs continuous printing of continuously printing a plurality of printing contents to the tape without performing cutting operation therebetween, performs reverse conveyance of conveying the tape in a reverse direction to the direction at the time of continues printing after the end of the continuous printing, and controls the conveyance part 150, the printing part 160 and the cutting part 170 so as to divide and cut the tape among the plurality of printing contents printed on the tape after the end of the reverse conveyance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
