To provide a technique capable of minimizing the deterioration of tact and the change in a surface state of a print material, and capable of bringing the film thickness of the print material close to a fixed value after it is applied to a printed body.
The printer 10 comprises a stage 22 which holds a substrate W having an arrangement of partitions 60 formed on the surface, a plate cylinder 14 having a printing plate 17 on which a predetermined pattern is formed, and transferring a pattern of ink 70 between the partitions 60 of the substrate W from the printing plate 17 coated with the ink 70 of an organic EL material, an ink supply roller 12 for supplying ink to the printing plate 17, and an infrared heater 80 which heats the ink 70 delivered onto the ink supply roller 12 from an ink supply slit nozzle 11 without coming contact therewith.
