Abstract:
To provide a printing method capable of preventing generation of extraction leakage of a pattern.SOLUTION: A printer has a pattern extraction section for extracting a pattern area from second image data on the basis of a contrast between first image data representing a pattern and the second image data generated by imaging a conveyed cloth, a printing image generation section for generating third image data representing an image to be printed on the pattern by arranging so as to match a pattern area, and a print control section for executing printing of the print image data on a conveyed cloth on a printer, in which the pattern extraction portion executes a first extraction treatment of the pattern area with the first area of the second image data as a target, and second extraction treatment of a pattern area with a second region of the second image data as a target, a portion of the second region is an OL area overlapping with the first area, and a length in a conveying direction of the OL area is longer than a length in the conveying direction of the first image data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
