Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of creating a plurality of pieces of printed matter in which printed matter having an adhesive portion and printed matter without an adhesive portion are combined as necessary, as a set.SOLUTION: A printer 1 comprises: an adhesive agent adding unit 6; and an auto cutter 13, and performs printing on a recording surface of recording paper 3, and adhesive agent adding processing on a rear surface of the recording paper 3, on the basis of printing data from a host computer. The printer 1 controls the adhesive agent adding unit 6 so that an adhesive agent adding region does not include a partial cut position by the auto cutter 13. For example, the printer 1 installed at a cafe and the like receives printing data created according to accounting content from a POS register and the like, and prints set printed matter in one time printing job. The set printed matter is discharged from the printer 1 in a state where a receipt and an exchange ticket without an adhesive portion, and a recipe which is a weak adhesive label are partially cut.
