Abstract:
PURPOSE: To print beautifully in good balance within printing frames by installing a printing control part etc., for printing with a printer in the conditions of the optimum registered character size and intercharacter space.
CONSTITUTION: Printing width is inputted using a button switch and a display. The inputted current value is compared with an inputted set value to judge whether the current value is within the range of the set value. If it is necessary to enlarge a font, the rank of fonts is enlarged from the current value, and the optimum font is selected from fonts X1-X5. When printing width is judged to exceed a set value, an intercharacter space (dot space) is inserted, and the width size of printing with the intercharacter space inserted is calculated. The calculated width is compared with an inputted set value. When the calculated width is judged to exceed the set value, the inserted intercharacter space is deleted for one time, and the optimum intercharacter space is determined to finish the process.
