Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a printer, a print system and a print method whereby a print paper having photosensitive microcapsules applied thereto is used, exposed, pressured and heated, thereby selectively letting a coloring substance generate color and obtaining images.
SOLUTION: When a power source is turned on, a carriage 5 reciprocates once and a bar code sensor 22 reads a bar code of a cassette C, thereby specifying a type of a print paper P. At the time of printing, first, a pickup roll 1 draws out the print paper P. Then, the carriage 5 reciprocates, and a light- emitting diode emits light corresponding to an image to the print paper, thereby turning microcapsules selectively to be unable to break by pressure and forming latent images. While the carriage 5 is present at an end, feed rollers 2a, 2b sends the print paper. A rotary roller 12a pressures and develops the print paper P. A heater 14 heats a coloring substance kept in touch with an image- receiving layer, and accelerates the development to generate images.
