PURPOSE: To enable a paper to be cut immediately after printing, by fitting one of a pair of cutter parts for cutting a paper to a platen on the paper feeding-out side so that the platen serves also as a cutter holder.

CONSTITUTION: The platen 11 is fitted directly with one cutter holder 6a on the paper feeding-out side thereof so as to serve also as a cutter holder, and constitutes a paper-cutting mechanism together with the other cutter holder 5b (having a cutter part 6b). A paper 2 is fed by a paper-feeding mechanism 3, and is printed by a printer 1 at a position corresponding to the platen 1. When the paper 2 reaches the paper feeding-out side of the platen 11, the cutter holder 5b is moved in the direction of an arrow, whereby the paper 2 is cut by cutters 6a, 6b. Accordingly, the paper 2 can be cut immediately after being printed.
