PURPOSE: To print necessary data on a specified paper for a short period of time by printing a part of fixed data preceeding the weight data based on the output of sensing that a merchandise is placed on a weighing tray.

CONSTITUTION: The upper cloumn of a label L stuck at an equi-space on a belt- like amount 20 on a label roll 1 set on the top of a casing 2 is stopped right under an electrode block of a dot printer and article is placed on a plate 3. The outputs are compared between a means of detecting the placement of the merchandise (comparator) and a load cell as a means of detecting weight. When the output of the load cell exceeds a fixed weight, a high level signal is output from the comparator and upon reception of the signal, the label L is transferred to a label issuing port 7 with the direction C while the name of the merchanidise is printed. Then, the expiry data is printed. When the output of the load cell reaches a balance, producing the data of net weight and price, the data such as month produced, Yen rate per 100g, net weight and price are separately printed.
