Abstract:
To obtain a printer wherein print position is aligned among heads without bothering a user.
A first print pattern is formed on a patch 350 using the upstream side 311 of a black head 310 in the paper feed direction. A second print pattern is formed using a cyan head 321 during subsequent scan and after both patterns are completed, reading of the patch 35 is performed with the measuring spot 352 of a reflection optical sensor 30.
