A mounting part 1 for holding a paper roll R is provided at the back surface 3b of a printer 3. A guide plate 14 is rotatably provided in the inside of the semi-cylindrical base part 2 constituting the lower half of the mounting part 1. An insertion part S having a specified gap is provided between the upper end part 2ba of a base part 2 at the opposite position of the holding center axis of the paper roll R with respect to the printer 3, and one end part 14aa of the guide plate 14. The other end part is extended and formed to a platen part in the printer 3. A receiving surface 14a in a circular arc shape for holding the paper roll R is formed at the upper surface of the guide plate 14. An introducing party J continued from the insertion part S to the portion of the platen, is provided at the back surface of the guide plate 14 between the plate 14 and the base part 2. The insertion of the tip end R1 of the paper roll R into the insertion part S guides the tip end to the portion of the platen through the introducing part J.
