To provide a printer in which minimization of the entire apparatus and maximization of the film carrying passage are realized simultaneously while enhancing the operability of the apparatus.
The printer 1 has a body 100 provided with sections performing various kinds of print processing of media 3. The body is further provided with a media containing section (a cassette room 2, a media cassette 5) disposed on the upper side, a media take-out section (a post-heat section 80) disposed at the uppermost section of the body contiguously to the containing section, and a carrying passage formed between the containing section and the take-out section and extending in loop along the inner circumference of the body to surround respective print processing sections.
