Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing costs of a printer which secures the strength for holding a large diameter roll sheet.SOLUTION: A printer 100 includes: a housing 101 forming a substantially box shape; a pair of shaft paper guides which are provided in the housing 101 and arranged facing each other with a transfer passage of a recording medium disposed therebetween; cutout parts respectively provided at upper ends of the pair of shaft paper guides; and a shaft 403 which is supported by the cutout parts at both ends while being inserted into the inner side of a winding core, around which a long sheet is wound into roll form, and thereby supports the sheet so that the sheet can be pulled out from the housing 101. The printer 100 is provided with an exterior cover 600 which is provided in the housing 101, formed by using an insulative material, includes an opening 602 which opens the cutout parts to an exterior part, and covers a pair of frames while opening the cutout parts to the exterior part through the opening 602.
