Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a printer for printing labels.SOLUTION: A cutter Ct for cutting a label continuous body after printing is disposed at a position entering the inside rather than a surface of an external case of a printer. A peeling sensor SA is installed between the cutter Ct and a thermal head 25, and a paper detection sensor SB is installed on a downstream side in a printing carrying direction of the cutter Ct. The sensors SA and SB are mounted on a common wiring substrate SS while being in two stages. Within a range of an installation area of a cover open button Bp for opening an open/close cover portion 3 of the printer, the wiring substrate SS is disposed upright in the printing carrying direction of the label continuous body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
