Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of reducing the work for sheet jam release.SOLUTION: When sheet jam occurs in a main conveyance path (external sheet supply path RS1, printing path RP, sheet discharge path RD), a control part 8 controls an external sheet supply part 2, a conveyance printing part 4, a sheet discharge part 6, and a circulation conveyance part 5 so as to stop sheet conveyance on the upstream side with respect to the jam occurrence position in the main conveyance path, discharge sheets P on the downstream side, and stop sheet conveyance in an inverse circulation path RC. When sheet jam occurs in the inverse circulation path RC, the control part 8 controls the external sheet supply part 2, the conveyance printing part 4, the sheet discharge part 6, and the circulation conveyance part 5 so as to stop sheet conveyance on the upstream side with respect to the jam occurrence position in the inverse circulation path RC, and discharge the sheets P on the downstream side with respect to the jam occurrence position in the inverse circulation path RC and the sheets P in the main conveyance path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
