Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can cool a light emitting element array so that a peak position of illuminance is in a longitudinal center position in illuminance distribution of the light emitting element array.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a plurality of head units which are arrayed in a paper-feed direction and discharge UV ink on a print medium P; and an irradiation unit which is arranged between the plurality of head units and irradiates with an ultraviolet ray. The irradiation unit includes: an LED element array 51 in which a plurality of LED elements 62 are arranged in a matrix shape on a print circuit board 61; a unit cover 53 which covers the LED element array 51; and a cooling unit 54 which sends cooling air to a center part of the LED element array 51 in the paper-feed direction in the unit cover 53. Two front and rear discharge ports 92, 93 for discharging the cooling air sent to the center part of the LED element array 51 in the paper-feed direction to the longitudinal direction of the paper-feed direction, are formed on the unit cover 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
