Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which prevents wrinkles of a ribbon while maintaining attachment easiness of an ink ribbon to a printer body.SOLUTION: A printer 100 includes: a printer body 120 having transport means, which transports a sheet P1 serving as an elongated printing medium, and serving as a first member; a cover 121 having printing means, which transports an ink ribbon tape 2 along a sheet P transport direction and makes prints on the sheet P1, and serving as a second member; and a shaft part 122 serving as opening/closing means which opens and closes the printer body 120 and the cover 121. The cover 121 has a cassette attaching part 112 to which an ink ribbon cassette 10A housing a core part, around which the ink ribbon tape 2 is wound, is detachably attached. The printer body 120 has cassette support parts 113A, 113B serving as positioning parts for positioning the core part of the ink ribbon tape 2 when the printer body 120 and the cover 121 are closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
