Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which makes prints on a roll sheet, achieves downsizing of the printer, and enables near end detection without depending an installation angle.SOLUTION: A printer includes a storage part 11, which stores a printing medium wound into a roll shape, and pulls out the printing medium of the storage part to make prints. The printer 1 has: a sensor part 10 that detects a situation that a roll part 7a of the printing medium moves to a predetermined area of the storage part; and a holding part including a pair of side walls configured to press side surfaces of the roll part from both sides, at least one of the side walls having an angle relative to the side surface of the roll part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
