Abstract:
To provide a printer which can prevent interference in replacing papers by a detection mechanism of a remaining amount of papers.SOLUTION: A printer includes a storage part, a printing part, a protrusion part, a sensor, a cover, and a fixing part. The storage part stores papers wound in a roll shape. The printing part draws out the paper stored in the storage part, and prints various kinds of information on the paper. The protrusion part protrudes to an inside of the storage part from an opening arranged on the storage part when an outer diameter of a roll part of the papers stored in the storage part becomes smaller than a predetermined size. The sensor detects that the protrusion part protrudes. The cover closes the opening for taking out the papers stored in the storage part. The fixing part fixes the protrusion part to an external of the storage part by interlocking with opening of the cover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
