Abstract:
To provide a printer capable of smoothly and surely feeding a tip of a roll sheet set in a roll supporting unit to a conveyance path.SOLUTION: A printer 11 of the present invention includes a housing 12 having a printing part 30 and a roll supporting unit 1 disposed below the housing 12 to support a roll sheet R; the roll supporting unit 1 includes a bearing part 21 for bearing a support shaft 22 of the roll sheet R and a contact part 23 brought into contact with a surface of the roll sheet R staying in a state where the support shaft 22 is supported by the bearing part 21; and the printer includes a guide part 41 for guiding a tip S of the roll sheet R to a predetermined position Q of a conveyance path 2 extending from the contact part 23 to the printing part 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
