Abstract:
To provide a printer capable of reliably performing the loading and holding of a printing medium.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a pair of support members sandwiching a printing medium like a roll; and a pair of swing members which have holding pins for turnably holding the printing medium, which are swingably attached to the support members, respectively, and which abut on the printing medium so as to swing in the direction of bringing the pair of holding pins close to each other. The swing-axis-direction length of the swing member is greater than the swing-radial-direction length of the swing member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22
