Abstract:
To provide a printer in which it is prevented that a printing medium contacts a printing part due to deformation of the printing medium.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a transport part 21 which transports a long printing medium W; a printing part 22A, 22B which performs printing for the long printing medium W transported by the transport part 21; a temperature information acquisition part 26 which acquires temperature information in a device; a printing medium push-down roller 52 which is provided at a position opposite to the printing medium W; and a printing control part 24 which moves the printing medium push-down roller 52 according to temperature information, thereby so controlling as to apply tensile force to the printing medium W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
