Abstract:
To provide a printer capable of reducing contamination of a sheet bundle folded by a post-processing device.SOLUTION: A printer 2 is connected with a post-processing device 3 having a folding roller 67 for folding a predetermined plural number of sheets P conveyed one after another and stacked on each other as a folding unit while contacting a sheet P conveyed last. A printing part 12 prints one after another on each sheet P of the folding unit. A conveying part 13 conveys each sheet P printed by the printing part 12 to the post-processing device 3. A control part 14 performs control so that the sheet P coming into contact with the folding roller 67 among the sheets P of the folding unit is printed just before the last in a printing order by the printing part 12, is made to stand by in the conveying part 13, and then is conveyed to the post-processing device 3 lastly among the sheets P of the folding unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
