Abstract:
To provide a printer which can heat an elongated recording medium at a proper temperature suitable for the elongated recording medium without deteriorating productivity.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a print part which executes print processing on a flexible elongated recording medium; a heater which heats the elongated recording medium on which prints are made by the print part; and conveyance rollers which sandwich the elongated recording medium on which the prints are made by the print part. The printer includes: detection means which detects a deformation amount of the elongated recording medium which is deformed when sandwiched by the conveyance rollers; and a temperature control part which controls a temperature, at which the elongated recording medium is heated by the heater, based on the deformation amount detected by the detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
